Part-time French Teacher – Elementary (Grades 7-8)

Montessori Academy of London (MA) provides something unique in London: high-quality traditional Montessori education that truly puts the needs of the child first. MA seeks a dynamic, qualified applicant to positively impact the lives of our students, through a part-time Elementary (Grades 7 & 8) French teaching opportunity for the 2024-2025 academic year. The Junior High French teacher works 13-15 hours a week and provides support to the Grade 7-8 teaching team. Qualifications and Skills

Our ideal candidate has:

• An undergraduate degree in French/or high level of French fluency.
• Experience teaching children – preferably Elementary/Grade 7-8 level.
• Montessori Teaching Certification – preferable but not essential.
• Maturity, responsibility, a friendly demeanour, patience.
• A passion for working with children and encouraging their growth and independence.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• A valid Police vulnerable sector check (PVSC).
• Canadian citizenship or appropriate work Visa or permit.
