Glen Cedar Montessori Preparatory School has been established Woodbridge, Ontario since 2005. GCMPS is committed to providing children with the highest quality of education. We are currently seeking Casa Montessori Teachers and Elementary Montessori Teachers for September 2025. GCMPS is a warm, welcoming and enriched Montessori environment that encourages each child’s natural love of learning to prepare them to become independent, responsible individuals by instilling the fundamental skills of learning.
We are currently looking for candidates who align with our school principles and displays a love for the Montessori philosophy. Each candidate must be willing to be a team player among our community, exhibit excellent communication skills, dedication and professionalism.

POSTIONS OPEN FOR SEPTEMBER 2025: Casa Teachers and Elementary Teachers
POSITION DETAILS: Full Time Employment (Monday to Friday 8:15-4:30 PM September to June)
LOCATION: Woodbridge, Ontario

Responsibilities:
•Prepare and implement an enriching Montessori learning environment for students that aligns with our school values and curriculum while fostering the child’s whole growth and development; academically, emotionally and physically
•Conduct oneself as a positive, inspirational role model in our school community based upon patience, kindness and respect
•Work harmoniously and collaboratively with staff in our school community
•Maintain an open line of communication with students’ parents and maintain an approachable attitude to facilitate communication
•Responsible for classroom management and supervision of students
•Maintaining an organized prepared environment for the children to flourish which includes program planning an implementation
•Monitor, assess and maintain student progress and records, including report cards and individual educational needs when required

Qualifications:
•Montessori Teaching Diploma; preferable AMI or MACTE accredited
•Work Experience in the classroom
•First Aid/CPR Certification
•Vulnerable Sector Screen
•Proof of Immunization, 2 Step TB Test
