ECE Teachers
Reports to: Principal
Hours of Work: Monday – Friday, within the hours of 7 am – 6 pm
Locations:

Milton: 8560 Tremaine Rd, Milton, ON L9T 2X3
Compensation: Compensation will be determined by their level of experience. Health and Dental Benefits are available after 3 months of employment, vacation time, and wellness days are available.
The Organization
The Montessori Country School is located in Nobleton and Milton, Ontario, Canada, and is a fully-licensed childcare centre, registered private school and accredited Montessori school, which provides programs for children ages 3 years to 9 years of age. Through the Montessori Country School – Milton, children receive care designed to help them develop their academic, emotional and social skills, and grow the foundations they will need to succeed in life. Compensation Package:
- Base pay for an RECE will be $18.39 plus $2.00 PWE, and $1.50 GOG totaling $22.39; depending on experience the rate of pay may change
- Health Benefits (medical and dental).

Qualifications
- An ECE diploma from a recognized Ontario college
- Registered with the College of Early Childhood Educator
- Up-to-date First Aid and CPR
- Up-to-date Immunization and 2 tiered TB test
Duties & Responsibilities
- The primary responsibility is to co-ordinate and lead her/his team in planning and implementing a program and daily activities
- Provide supervision and guidance of daily activities, field trips, and special activities.
- Works cooperatively as a team member, encourages others to do likewise, and consistently maintains a positive attitude.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding development of children.
- Report any issues or concerns that may arise in accordance with proper procedures.
- Direct and participate with children in all planned activities.
- Use well-developed interpersonal, and relationship-building skills; ability to establish rapport and excellent communication with members, staff, and parents.
- Attend and contribute to staff meetings and in-house professional development whether during or after regular work hour
Some daily requirements and components to the job you will need to consider are:
- Flexibility between the hours of 7:00am – 6:00pm.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
