Kennedy Montessori School is an established, CCMA accredited school with an excellent reputation. We are a small school, with students ranging from Toddler to grade 8. We are located in Markham, near the intersection of 14th Avenue and Kennedy Rd.

We are looking for a CASA teacher for the next school year. Our school goes by a regular school term, but there are also summer camp hours available for the months of July and August.
We are looking for an energetic, patient, and creative teacher who brings joy to our classroom. We are lucky to have a spacious, fully equipped classroom with children from 2.5 to 6 years of age. We are accredited with the CCMA.

We are looking specifically for someone with experience in a multi-age classroom. We require an experienced teacher who would be able to easily step in and comfortably manage a classroom of 24 children (with the help of two assistants).

Basic Requirements:

  • MACTE accredited CASA Diploma
  • Experience as head teacher running a multi-age classroom
  • excellent spoken and written English
  • be reliable, enthusiastic, and able to work well with others
  • a recent Vulnerable Sector Check
  • standard first aid, including Infant & Child CPR – level C
  • up to date immunization

We would like to thank everyone who applies. We look forward to speaking with those who meet our selection criteria, however we will not be able to reply to all applicants.

Please do not apply unless you currently live within commuting distance, have a MACTE accredited CASA Diploma, and have the experience necessary to run a large multi-age group classroom.

Thank you!

Kiera Thompson
