Casa Guide – September 2024

Prince Edward Montessori School – West campus is located in the beautiful Kingsway area of Toronto in a quiet neighbourhood steps from shops, bakeries, markets and restaurants.  We are also within easy walking distance of the Royal York subway and several bus lines.

We are currently looking for an A.M.I. or MACTE Accredited Casa guide for September 2024.  If you are a warm, caring and professional individual with a keen interest in the Montessori pedagogy and a genuine love of children, we would like to meet with you.

The successful candidate will also possess excellent communication skills with a good command of the English language both written and oral.  You must also be able to communicate effectively with children, parents and staff.  You will be well organized and a keen observer, with excellent class management skills and a desire to develop your Montessori teaching skills on an on going basis through seminars, workshops etc.

This position requires someone who is able to work well within a small team. You will possess a positive attitude and an interest in contributing ideas while also being open to the ideas of others.  The ideal candidate will be a flexible and motivated individual who also demonstrates the attributes of the Montessori philosophy in their daily life.

Candidates must be able to provide two professional references.  References may include educators.  You will also have up to date CPR/First aid training and a current Vulnerable Sector Check.
