Position:  Elementary Bilingual Classroom Assistant – Full-Time

Lyonsgate Montessori School is a CCMA accredited school that is fully dedicated to the A.M.I standards of education. We are a small school with 2 campuses. Our first campus has 1 toddler community and 2 Casa classrooms. Our second campus is close by with lower and upper elementary programs.

We are looking for an Elementary Bilingual Classroom Assistant  to work with all of our elementary students grade 1 to grade 6. The individual would be responsible for collaborating with the lead guides to ensure proper instruction in keeping with the Montessori pedagogy.

**We are willing to train someone in this role and you do not necessarily need Montessori training. Our primary criteria is for someone to be a good fit and speak French at a high level.**

Qualifications and attributes:

• Someone with native French or at a university level
• A hard worker with a demonstrated passion for working with children
• The ability to collaborate and contribute as a team player
• A proven professional approach and work ethic
• Current Standard First Aid with CPR C + AED
• A current Vulnerable Sector Police Record Check
• Updated immunization record

The hours are Monday- Friday 8:00-4:45pm.
