Located in beautiful North Vancouver, British Columbia, (1325 East Keith Rd)

Requirements applicants must have:
• Montessori teaching or assistant diploma
• ECE or ECEA certification
• Current First Aid certification
• Minimum 1 year work experience in childcare setting

Duties:
• Support the Lead Teacher in running & maintaining a Montessori environment that
protects the health, security and well-being of children.
• Follow the direction of the Lead Teacher on supporting Montessori lessons.
• Assist in the preparation of classroom materials.
• Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits.
• Collaborate to develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote
the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children.
• Engage children in developmentally appropriate activities inclusive of the Montessori
curriculum.
• Model integrity, curiosity, responsibility, creativity and respect for all persons as well as
an appreciation of racial, cultural, gender issues and diversity.
• Support Lead Teacher with parent-teacher conferences twice each year.
• Assist in the preparation of external communication to families at regular intervals
• Ensure the safety and physical well-being of the students at all times.
