About Our Speaker:
Dr. Susan Zoll’s research speaks to the need for increased access to high-quality early language & literacy opportunities for all children. She works alongside teachers using a coaching model that transforms literacy data into effective classroom instruction and co-design opportunities to engage families as partners in students’ learning. Dr. Zoll serves on the AMS Research Committee and the AMS Innovation Fellowship Think Tank.
She holds an AMS-Early Childhood credential having served as a Montessori educator, teacher trainer for the Language curriculum, Head of School, and as a researcher and Associate Professor in Early Childhood Education.
Dr. Zoll has co-authored three books published by Teachers College Press:

- Effective Literacy Assessment in the Montessori Classroom: Using Data to Inform Instruction (coming Spring 2025)
