Casa Assistant

The Orchard Montessori School is an established school in the west end of downtown Toronto and home to children aged 2½ to 13 years. Our unique adolescent program, The Orchard Lyceum, is located nearby in a working art gallery on Queen West.

We are looking for a Casa Assistant with a love for children and a desire to be a member of a team that provides the best Prepared Environment possible for each child to construct themselves in.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Registered Early Childhood Educator certification
• Montessori Assistant certificate is an asset

SKILLS:

• Reliably, consistently ensure the safety and well-being of the children in our care.
• Ability to communicate effectively with other team members.
• Ability to understand and enact directions and Montessori practices.
• Understand and uphold Ministry licensing requirements.
• French is an asset.
• Montessori experience is an asset.
• A personal area of passion is an asset e.g. art, dance, yoga, science, music etc.

Start date is September 2025.

Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
