French Casa and Elementary Teacher

La Maison Montessori House – Newmarket, ON

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment, delivering engaging lessons, and fostering the intellectual and social development of students.

Duties:
– Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the educational needs of students.
– Utilize the Montessori teaching methods to ensure student comprehension and application of concepts.
– Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
– Assess student progress through record keeping app
– Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and behavior.
– Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.

Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field, or Montessori Diploma
– Proven experience in teaching or working with students.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
– Passion for education and fostering a love of learning in students.

Additional Skills:
– Classroom Management
– Specialization in a particular subject area or grade level.
– Knowledge of differentiated instruction techniques.
