Job Description
The Brason Academy Montessori School (BAMS) Supervisor must have recognized
Montessori Training from either the Association Montessori International (AMI) or a
Montessori Teacher training institution accredited by the Montessori Accreditation
Council for Teacher Education (MACTE). This experienced and exceptional RECE
will provide supervision and leadership, ensuring nurturing care and education for
young children in a Montessori environment. They will adhere to the goals,
curriculum, philosophy, and policies of the organization, maintaining strict
compliance with the CCEYA and the Ministry of Education.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
• Collaborate with staff to create and implement age-appropriate Montessori and
Play-Based programs.
• Guarantee compliance with licensing requirements from the Ministry of
Education and Child Care Early Years Act including mandatory record
keeping, staff scheduling, and compliance with all policies.
• Develop programming for special events and encourage staff creativity.
• Build and maintain positive relationships and regular communication with
parents and the community.
• Provide constructive feedback and conduct staff evaluations to promote
performance.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, and orienting new staff following approved
processes and policies.
• Work closely with the Management Team to ensure efficient administrative
operations.
• Represent the center professionally on childcare community committees.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Management Team.
Qualifications
• Must be a RECE in good standing with the College of Early Childhood
Educators.
• Must have a Montessori qualification (AMI or MACTE)
• At least 2 years of supervisory or assistant supervisory experience
• Previous classroom teaching experience is mandatory
• Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to use social media platforms for marketing and advertising is an asset.
• Valid Standard First Aid & CPR Level “C”.
• Police Check and Vulnerable Sector Screen within the past 6 months.
• Food Handling Certification is an asset.
• Solid knowledge of the CCEYA and related regulations.
• Superior interpersonal skills, initiative, and dedication.

maintaining high programming standards.
Salary: Based on experience and qualifications.

• Starting Salary: From $58000.00 per year
